We've got DC Super Pets on May 211, 2021, which I am assuming (I just sent out a question to my sources about this) is an animated feature. There's an untitled WB Event Film slotted for July 16, 2021 (one weekend after Walt Disney's Indiana Jones movie) and another WB event movie on October 1, 2021. The first bit of big news is The Suicide Squad (AKA - Suicide Squad 2) opening on August 6, 2021, which will be five years to the day (minus one day) from the August 5, 2016 release of Suicide Squad. The franchise and the studio are certainly in healthier places than they were when the new stand-alone Batman movie was first discussed. Imagine, if you will, a scenario where the DC Films franchise is healthy enough where people expect The Batman to be good at least partially because it's part of the DC Films franchise.
