The former Bangladeshi ambassador to Algeria has been appointed to ThailandBangladesh has appointed two new ambassadors to Thailand and Algeria. The government has appointed Mohammed Abdul Hye, currently serving as the ambassador of Bangladesh to Algeria, as the country’s next ambassador to Thailand. Hye is a career foreign service officer belonging to the 1986 batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday. Bangladesh appointed Muhammad Zulqar Nain, currently serving as the Deputy High Commissioner at Bangladesh High Commission in London, as the new ambassador of Bangladesh to Algeria. In his distinguished diplomatic career, Zulqar Nain served in various capacities in Bangladesh missions in Washington DC, Seoul, and Birmingham.
