A local non-governmental organization launched an adaptation of widely popular children’s song “Baby Shark” to encourage ocean conservation and use less plastic. EcoDrive yesterday published on social media the music video titled “No Single-Use Plastic”, which features marine animals like sharks, whales and turtles surrounded by plastic waste in the sea. Start small, start now!”The song was produced in cooperation with “Baby Shark”’s original creator Pinkfong, a South Korean brand of children's education. The NGO also noted that single-use plastic usage is increasing tremendously, prompting them to find new ways to continue their work. The spike of plastic usage globally has been driven by demand for surgical masks and other personal protection equipment, as well as takeaway food containers due to social distancing rules.
