Netrokona District and Sessions Judge KM Rasheduzzaman Raja delivered the verdict on Tuesday. The convicts are Md Hasan Ali, Abdul Malek, Md Munnaf Mian, and Selim Sarker, who were not present in court during the sentencing. They were also fined Tk 20,000 each, said Public Prosecutor or PP Saiful Alam Pradeep. According to the case dossier, the PP said, ‘Soliaman’, a microbus driver living in the district’s Bichiparha village, was killed in 2013 after the convicts hired him. His nephew Nurul Amin started a case against five people at Netrakona Model Police Station and police pressed charges against them in court in 2014.
