Bird Box used news footage of a train crash in Quebec, Canada that killed 43 people in 2013. She posted originally in French, tweeting: "This result shows that by being united and pooling our efforts, everything is possible." Bird Box isn't alone in using real-life footage from the disaster with Canadian sci-fi TV series Travelers also using footage from the Lac-Mégantic disaster. The show apologised later and said it would replace it out of respect. Bird Box is currently on Netflix.
