Mindhunter is not cancelled, but rather going on some kind of indefinite hiatus, according to Netflix. Mindhunter NetflixI didn’t realize that Fincher was that involved in Love, Death and Robots, but that’s cited as well. It took an unusually long time for season 2 of Mindhunter to hit after season 1, and now in season 3, I wonder if they’re running into format/timeline issues. Deadline reports that there has been “no meaningful communication between Netflix, the director and the cast about a third season,” which does not sound promising in the least. Still, none of this looks good, and a third season of Mindhunter may not be in the cards no matter how long we wait.
