The patients are a Nepali national --a student of the Department of Livestock Science and Veterinary Medicine -- and another student of the university who is currently under home-isolation, confirms the civil surgeon’s office of Gopalganj. “As per the instructions we received from the civil surgeon’s office, the Nepali student has been put under isolation at Sheikh Rasel Hall and s/he will be free to return to Nepal after getting well,” said Dr Md Rajiur Rahman, proctor of the university. “We have taken measures to make the students feel safe and sound,” said the official. He also pointed out that the university authorities are willing to respond immediately, within the shortest possible time, to any inconvenience the students may face and they have taken steps to ensure safety of the students.
