KUALA LUMPUR: The Nepal Embassy here has lodged a police report over a viral video showing a Nepalese guard being beaten by a man with a baton. “The Embassy of Nepal notes with concern the recent video trending on social media regarding the assault on a security guard in Malaysia. “A police report has been lodged so that the authorities cancarry out an investigation, ” it said in a post on its official Facebook page. The embassy urged those with information to contact officials at eonkualalumpur@mofa.gov.np or 016-247 2777. The one-minute video clip making its rounds on social media shows a man confronting the security guard and continuously beating him with a baton.
