Nelson twins Elise and Evie Reid were in Glasgow in 2019 to perform at the World Pipe Band Championships. Two Nelson twins will be joining 600 other performers in one of New Zealand's biggest ever military tattoo performances in Palmerston North in April. The Celtic Pipe Band will be one of many groups attending the New Zealand Military Tattoo, including a range of pipe bands, brass bands and highland dancers. In 2018, they travelled to China to perform at the Shanghai Tourist Festival, and in 2019 competed in the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow.
