Sara Cohen has launched a swimwear brand, Hakinakina from her Nelson home. Faced with a selection of skimpy swimwear or frumpy cover-ups, a Nelson woman has started her own activewear brand, aiming to help women feel comfortable and protected while they’re outdoors. Sara Cohen moved to Nelson from Britain two years ago and quickly took to the water: surf skiing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Cohen will host a launch event for Hākinakina on Thursday, July 30 from 5 to 7.30pm at Parts and Service, on Hardy St.
