A pair of Nelson botanists have been recognised for their outstanding work with the prestigious Allan Mere Award. The Nelson Botanical Society, which Bill co-founded in 1989, honoured the pair at a special meeting. The society said the Malcolms “contributed much to [the]t society and to the understanding and documentation of native flora in the biodiverse Nelson region”.
