Neill Blomkamp is being eyed to direct a 'Gran Turismo' movie. The 42-year-old director is in talks with Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions about bringing the iconic driving game to the big screen. The film is in the very early stages of development and plot details are being kept under wraps at the moment. The 'Gran Turismo' series has a rich history and was created by Polyphony and Kazunori Yamauchi in 1997. The series has sold over 85 million copies with the most recent edition, 'Gran Turismo 7', being released earlier this year.
