KUALA LUMPUR: The inclusion of host Neelofa Mohd Noor to the recent opening of Astro Ria talk show MeleTOP was a “last minute decision” in the words of actor Fahrin Ahmad. Commenting on the abrupt exit of fellow actor Fattah Amin who was supposed to join him in the recent event, Fahrin said the producers of MeleTOP had originally planned for both of them to appear without the co-hosts Neelofa and Nabil Ahmad. This really surprised me, I don’t know what happened – perhaps the producers have the answer,” added Fahrin. Astro Ria channel manager Emarina Kamal said Fattah was being professional and denied allegations that he did not want Neelofa to helm the interview. MeleTOP, aired live every Tuesday at 9pm on Astro Ria and Ria HD (channels 104 and 123), is hosted by Neelofa and Nabil.
