Nebraska's Axelina Johansson defended her Big Ten title in women's shot put Saturday, throwing 60 feet, 8 inches at the conference outdoor meet in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It's Johansson's third Big Ten title — she won at both the indoor and outdoor meet last season. Mine De Klerk finished third in the women's shot put (56-4) to give NU six points. Wisconsin has chased Nebraska down to win the Big Ten meet in each of the past two conference indoor meets. NU won the outdoor team title last year.
