The Nebraska women's soccer team earned a share of the Big Ten title on Sunday when it defeated Illinois 4-2 and got an assist from Wisconsin. Nebraska scored four first-half goals for its sixth straight victory, and Wisconsin scored in the 82nd minute to stun the Nittany Lions, 1-0. Elsewhere, Michigan State defeated Iowa 3-0 to join Nebraska with a 7-1-2 record in Big Ten play. “We want to go as far as we can in the NCAA tournament.”Nebraska will almost certainly play in its first NCAA tournament since 2016. Before that, though, the Huskers enter the Big Ten tournament and will host a quarterfinal match Sunday at Hibner Stadium.
