Nebraska recorded eight sacks during its 36-14 loss to Colorado on Saturday, marking NU’s most productive pass-rushing game since Nebraska sacked Colorado seven times in 2018. Linebacker Nick Henrich and defensive lineman Cameron Lenhardt each recorded two sacks, making for an impressive performance from Lenhardt in his second-ever college football game. Linebacker Luke Reimer was next in the pecking order with 1 1/2 sacks, the most he’s ever recorded in a single game at Nebraska. Prior to Saturday, Nebraska’s most recent eight-sack performance came in the 2009 Big 12 Championship Game when the Huskers recorded nine sacks against Texas. The all-time program record for team sacks in a single game is 11, a mark Nebraska met in 1989 against Oregon State and against Maine in 2005.
