Nearly stationary ‘Tomas’ seen to re-enter PAR on SundayMANILA, Philippines—Typhoon “Man-yi”, locally named “Tomas”, is expected to re-enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday. PAGASA Weather Specialist Meno Mendoza said as of 3 a.m., Tomas was almost stationary but it is expected to once again enter PAR within the day. Because of this Cagayan Valley is expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms while the Cordillera Region is forecast to experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. The area may also experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Both Visayas and Mindanao are also warned of isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
