Nearly all of Alberta (with one exception) is under a heat warning


The entire province of Alberta (with one exception) was under a heat warning Saturday. The temperature in Calgary and Edmonton was expected to hit at least 29 C.The warnings cautioned that residents and visitors should:Consider rescheduling outdoor activities to avoid the heat of the day. "Thunderstorms will continue to develop over parts of western Alberta this evening and may linger into the overnight period. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe," Environment Canada said.
