A man and his dog escaped injury in an accident involving a car towing a trailer on Riccarton Rd, near Mosgiel, this morning. It appears the trailer coupling came off the towball and the drawbar on the tandem trailer, which was laden with lengths of wood, plunged through the rear of the car before coming to rest on the back seat. The driver had his dog with him in the car, and both escaped injury.
