Nazi symbolism scrawled on Wellington man's car, around suburb

A man in Johnsonville had his car vandalised with Nazi symbols, pictured, over the weekend. A large amount of racist Nazi vandalism has appeared around a Wellington suburb, including a man’s car being targeted – the only one in his street. Nazi hate symbolism has also recently been scrawled at Johnsonville’s Raroa Station, and at Alex Moore Park. Massey University’s Dr Paul Spoonley, an expert on the far right and white supremacy, said the appearance of the Nazi symbols was “disappointing, but not unexpected”. David Unwin/Stuff Professor Paul Spoonley says the Nazi symbolism is disappointing, but not unexpected.
