The PA’s antisemitic discourse, rooted in Nazi and Soviet-era conspiracy theories, has resulted in violence against Israelis and diaspora Jews. Israel also froze illegal Palestinian building in Area C and vowed to penalize PLO officials and NGOs involved in political warfare against Israel. PLO and PA antisemitic rhetoric constitutes a national security threat to Israel and the Jewish people today. Israel has the legal and moral mandate and responsibility to hold the Palestinian Authority accountable for its ongoing antisemitic incitement, rampant at all levels of Palestinian public discourse. Israel must adopt a no-tolerance approach to PA antisemitic discourse that will counterbalance the PA’s constant delegitimization campaign against Israel in the West.
