The actor on implementing a unique irrigation technique that emulates rainfall in his village of Budhana in UP Nawazuddin Siddiqui 's visit to Cannes this year was more educational than he would have anticipated. "Almost every kind of crop in France was being irrigated using this cost-effective and waterefficient technique called centre pivot irrigation," says Siddiqui. During his visit, Siddiqui, who has spent time farming in his village of Budhana till his graduation, made a startling discovery. Everyone agreed that natural rainfall was the best option and this technique recreates the sprinkle of rainfall. The actor instantly struck upon the idea of implementing the same in his own village, and got a sample model fabricated and shipped to his village.
