Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad Tuesday accused deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif of following an agenda to delay elections in the country. Sheikh Rasheed alleged that, “Nawaz Sharif has put an agenda in motion to delay elections by two years.” He said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president had periodically committed contempt of court. During his speech, Nawaz had said that all dictators in the country were given a clean chit by the judiciary. In our case, the apex court had given a verdict in the shortest possible time, he added. Imran lashed out at Nawaz during a joint press conference held alongside Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
