The Bangladesh Navy has rescued 20 fishermen after their boat was caught in cyclone Mora in the Bay of Bengal. The rescued fishermen were given first aid. After cyclone Mora battered Bangladesh’s coast on Tuesday, the Navy launched a search and rescue operation with 15 ships, a helicopter and a patrol flight. Apart from them, two Navy ships – Somudro Avijan and Khadem – also distributed relief and medicines among the cyclone-affected people in Saint Martin island and Kutubdia. Another 33 Bangladeshis adrift at sea after cyclone Mora were rescued by an Indian Navy ship on Wednesday.
