Crozier’s removal has drawn widespread attention, especially after videos of sailors cheering him as he left the ship circulated on Friday. Anyone who has served on a Navy ship would understand. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.), a Marine veteran, said that Modly “spectacularly disqualified himself as an effective leader” of the Navy.
