Three nature lovers have come together to save trees and beautify tree beds on the Linking Road stretch in Santacruz. “This is a pilot project to beautify the tree beds and plant more trees in the area. “For the six tree beds which we beautified, we have requested the nearby residential society members and shop owners to maintain and water the tree beds daily. People usually use the tree beds to dump garbage and debris, so the residents adopting the tree beds will have to look after the maintenance,” added Kane. “We will be guiding the members adopting the tree beds,” Jaiswal added.
