Greener Henley has announced plans to expand its Nature Squared campaign tenfold, increasing the area dedicated to pollinator planting from 500 square metres to 5,000 square metres by 2030. Organisers say the goal is to create a network of ‘nature corridors’ across Henley, described as a nature highway that supports bees, butterflies and other vital pollinating species. Julia Samyui-Adams, Nature Squared lead at Greener Henley, said the initiative highlights how small actions can make a significant difference. “We can launch this bigger, bolder Nature Squared campaign now, as we have been awarded funding to deliver it, specifically from Louis Baylis Trust & Henley Town Council, as well as some from SODC Councillor Community Grants.
