Many of the tri-county area’s nature destinations either reopened or soon will reopen after Hurricane Irma forced their closure earlier this month. In The Villages, Lake Mira Mar, Paradise Park and Fenney Nature Trail were among the first of the community’s outdoor venues to reopen following the storm. Fenney Nature Trail reopened in time for the District Recreation and Parks Department to hold a trail walk on Tuesday as part of its Active Aging Week activities.
