From powering kitchens to creating jobs, natural gas is an economic lifeline. What he underestimates though is how natural gas can help and create jobs for New Zealanders at the same time. As the world’s population grows we are going need more energy from all sources, especially natural gas. This is now a real risk, given we have rapidly shrinking natural gas reserves and rapidly shrinking opportunities to replace them. New Zealand-made natural gas is going to be a crucial tool in achieving this.
