(Matt Hazlett/Getty Images)With their bullpen again reeling, the Nationals called up right-handed reliever Trevor Gott from Class AAA Syracuse on Monday, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. They optioned infielder Wilmer Difo to Class AAA Syracuse to make room for Gott on the 25-man roster, leaving Washington with an extra reliever. “After that, I settled in, my stuff was good and I was getting people out,” Gott said. “It’s hard when you’re not where you want to be,” Gott, who added he was stronger and healthier this season, said. “Play his butt off, and he’ll be back.”Gott’s promotion comes on the heels of the Nationals bullpen falling apart late in consecutive losses to the Rangers on Saturday and Sunday.
