Almost 200 male and female wrestlers from different weight classes have taken part in the competition which will have its opening ceremony on Tuesday morning. The tournament will conclude on Wednesday, 9 January and the prize distribution ceremony will also take part on the same day. Wrestlers from ten different weights for men – 57 kg, 61 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 74 kg, 79 kg, 86 kg, 92 kg, 97 kg and 125 kg – and ten different weights for women – 50 kg, 53 kg, 55 kg, 57 kg, 59 kg, 62 kg, 65 kg, 68 kg, 72 kg and 76 kg – will take part in the competition. Among the men’s and women’s teams will be Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Ansar, Bangladesh Police along with different division based teams.
