National Safe Food Day was celebrated with the slogan “Fulfill the safe food country, everyone will get together with the gold country” with a variety of events all across the country on February 2, 2018. Finance Minister Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhit was present as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of Osmani Memorial Auditorium. Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury, Food Minister Advocate M Kamrul Islam , MP Mr. Md. They also said that to ensure safe food intake, appropriate steps should be taken to identify the problems and challenges in each level related to food production, import, processing, stocking, supply, marketing and sales. After the inauguration ceremony, the guests also visited various stalls of safe food fairs, which will last for two days.
