He is currently undergoing treatment at a Universal Cardiac Hospital in Dhaka, his son Ananda Zaman confirmed to the media adding that Dr Anisuzzaman was not in a critical condition. Ananda said Professor Anisuzzaman has been suffering from old age complications for a while and was admitted to Labaid Hospital in the first week of April for lung and kidney treatment.
