BNP held the rally as mass protests forced Sheikh Hasina to resign and flee the country. Congratulating students, Tarique Rahman said, "Door of democracy has opened . Calling upon the police to cooperate in fulfilling their duties, Tarique Rahman said that the police are not the enemy of the people. In every neighborhood, everyone including Muslims, Hindus, Christians must fulfill the responsibility of security," Tarique Rahman added.
