With Nimba County being the first so far to book their ticket to the quarterfinals of the ongoing National County Meet, today’s final group stage matches will determine the next seven counties that will join Nimba to come to Monrovia. Nimba on Tuesday advanced to the quarterfinals following their second win against Lofa County in a 3-0 thriller in Gbarnga, Bong County. The Mountaineers will go against host county Bong that are in need of just a point to qualify. Grand Gedeh will be hoping to win their match against the group’s underperformers Lofa County and also have their fingers crossed for Nimba to defeat Bong. If all goes in their direction, they will be leveled on points with Bong with one side qualifying on goal difference.
