The National Citizen Party (NCP) has named a 51-member executive council to serve for three months. The party’s Office Secretary Saleh Uddin Sifat disclosed the development to the media on Sunday. The council has been formed with the approval of party Convenor Nahid Islam and Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain per the decision No. Sifat said the party’s highest decision-making body will be a 10-strong political council, alongside the newly formed executive council. The council, he explained, will oversee the activities of the party secretariat, take decisions in emergency situations, and carry out other key responsibilities.
