KUALA LUMPUR: The pressure is on for the national players as the National Championships will serve as a decider before the BA of Malaysia (BAM) finalise their men and women’s squads for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in April. The national meet starts on Wednesday at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara. It is understood that BAM have decided on each event except for the women’s singles. The fight for the women’s singles spot is between National No 1 Soniia Cheah and 2015 world junior champion Goh Jin Wei. Soniia, is the top seed at the national meet, while Jin Wei is seeded second.
