The National Assembly of Libyan Scholars and Sheikhs have welcomed the Turkish Parliament's approval of the memorandum authorizing the dispatch of military forces to Libya, in order to counter Haftar's aggression. In a statement, the assembly called on all scholars of the Maghareb region to participate in the Tripoli Conference of Maghareb Scholars, in solidarity with Libya and its people, who are fighting multinational aggression, and to show support to the Libyan-Turkish alliance, calling for a Maghareb coalition to protect the countries of the region. "Haftar has sold the country to atheists and Arabs and he must be confronted by alliance with the brotherly countries, especially Turkey," the statement explained.
