National Artist for Literature Dr. Cirilo F. Bautista has passed away at 76. In a post by the De La Salle University Department of Literature on Facebook, it confirmed the news that Bautista died on Sunday. However, the department did not provide details on the death of Bautista. In 2014, former President Benigno Aquino III conferred the award to Bautista.
