The exhibi­tion is indeed an import­ant step toward­s reviva­l and promot­ion of art exhibi­tions in the countr­yISLAMABAD: After a 13 year long gap, the 9th National Art Exhibition organised by the Pakistan National Council of Arts was inaugurated on 19th December in Islamabad. The exhibition that will continue for a month displays work of nine great artists from Pakistan, exhibiting hundreds of paintings, sculptures and miniatures, among other things. The theme of the exhibition and the artwork put on display revolves around the historical and cultural diversity among different ethnic groups in Pakistan. The exhibition is indeed an important step towards revival and promotion of art exhibitions in the country.
