Share:Lahore - President University of Management & Technology (UMT) Ibrahim Hassan Murad paid tribute to Pakistan armed forces on 6th September and shared that we celebrate Defence Day as a national day to commemorate the sacrifices made by our soldiers in safeguarding Pakistan. He said that after the unforgettable struggle and sacrifices of our forefathers we got Pakistan which is based on true Islamic ideology. Ibrahim Murad further said that this day does not only signify the importance of autonomy but also helps us to reinvigorate the spirit of patriotism. He also paid tribute to the ideology of Quaid-e-Azam and Dr Muhammad Alamah Iqbal regarding the formation of Pakistan. We as a nation must salute to the sons of the soil who embraced martyrdom for safeguarding the geographical boundaries, and territorial integrity of our mother land, he added.
