General News of Saturday, 27 August 2016Source: 3news.comNat’l Accreditation Board lists 3 non-accredited universitiesNational Accreditation BoardThe National Accreditation Board (NAB) has raised concerns as regards the operation of some non-accredited tertiary institutions in Ghana. NAB says that as required by Act 2007 (Act 744) and Tertiary Institutions Regulations, 2010(L.I1984), these institutions do not qualify to operate as tertiary institutions. The Board therefore warns the general public, especially residents of Accra and its environs, to desist from engaging enrollment in the aforementioned institutions. The programmes they run should neither be patronized, the Board said in a release over the week. Any person that does business with these institutions does so at his/her own risk, the release stressed.
