The state minister made the statement at the inaugural session of a two-day international conference on energy efficiency, and conservation awareness at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka. Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority (Sreda) in association with Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Program (Reeep) of German donor agency GIZ organized the conference to discuss and share experiences on energy efficiency, and conservation issues. Ducoffre said Germany will continue to support Bangladesh to promote renewable energy, and ensure energy efficiency, and conservation.
