NASARAWA State government has donated land for the construction of barracks and other facilities of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps( NSCDC) in the state. ” His Excellency has approved the donations of land that will serve as the pioneer civil defense barracks to be constructed in Nasarawa state, not only land but that is conspicuously located in the heart of the state capital,” he said. He added that the government has instructed Director General Nasarawa state Geoinformation Survey ( NAGIS) to make the available certificate of occupancy of the land before the end of this month. The Governor, urged the men and officers of the command, to take advantage of the robust relationship with the state government to charge to take charge of the security architecture of Nasarawa state. ” Therefore, the measure of success and achievement in any security formation can be determined by the level of training such formation obtained, any security formation without adequate training is just like fish without water, it cannot survive” he stated.
