Doctors at Dhaka’s Labaid Hospital have decided to keep Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Mayor Selina Hayat Ivy under observation for 24 hours after she was admitted there with chest pain and low blood pressure. They later decided to send her to Dhaka on an ambulance. As she arrived at Labaid Hospital around 5pm, doctors put Ivy in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and later decided to keep her there for 24 hours after running several tests, said several hospital officials. We will keep her for 24 hours,” said the physician. Meanwhile, Awami League’s Organizing Secretary Enamul Haque Shamim visited Mayor Ivy at the hospital later in the evening.
