Napier's young movers and shakers off to nationalsMegan HuntSacrificing lunch times and morning tea breaks was all worth it for a team of dancers representing Hawke's Bay at a national championship. When the Napier Intermediate team took to the stage they were very nervous. After the school won the Hawke's Bay dance festival, teacher Alana Palleson saw the Dance NZ Made event and approached a group of students. The team of four students from Napier Intermediate won their division in the Dance NZ Made regional competition on August 5 and are off to nationals on September 17. On the day of the regional competition teams from around Hawke's Bay arrived at the Napier Municipal Theatre for a warm up.
