If you weren’t already aware that Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have been a couple for over 11 years, you’re a little late to the party as the two officially confirmed their split on Monday to People. “It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy,” the statement continued. “We spoke on the phone for several weeks and emailed,” said Watts, who lived in Los Angeles at the time. Schreiber now stars in Ray Donovan, while Watts is scheduled to appear in the Twin Peaks revival, along with upcoming horror flick Shut In.
