more-inCSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) is organizing a two-day Indo-US bilateral symposium on Nanotechnology Regulatory Science in association with IUSSTF, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), USA and Government of Telangana, at the Hyderabad Convention Centre, Novotel Hotel, on February 21-22. CSIR-IICT Director S. Chandrasekhar delivered the inaugural address where he stressed the importance of regulations to be made with respect to the products based on nanotechnology for various biomedical applications. He also highlighted the importance of nanotechnology in Ayurveda. He hoped the symposium would bring out a white paper educating the industry and academia with regards to regulations to follow for successful introduction of safe and efficacious nanotechnology based products into the market. Anil Patri from FDA and DDC of CDSCO Vishala Annam represented regulatory organizations from US and India, respectively.
