The special edition of the BPL is set to raise its curtain through a grand opening ceremony Sunday, with the tournament proper scheduled to start from Wednesday. The BCB is managing the tournament on their own, with the intention of preparing the players for the World T20I, to be held in Australia in 2020. “All the players we have are included in the BPL squads as this edition of the tournament is very crucial for us. The World T20I is knocking at the door. Different venues can have different wickets so that players can adapt themselves.
