The Awami League leader made the statement at a press briefing at the AL president’s political office on Saturday afternoon. Nanak did not receive a party nomination, and is now working as the head of the Awami League’s election monitoring team to ensure party victory in the election. Nanak also expressed the hope that Awami League will win the upcoming election by a huge margin. BNP had nominated its Standing Committee Member Khandker Mosharraf Hossain for the Chandpur 1 seat instead of Milon.
